- 5 / 5By L NazirWe visited the Salty Monk for an Afternoon Tea last year while on holiday. And we were absolutely delighted by the whole experience! The interior was exquisitely presented and the outdoor seating area was in a beautiful peaceful garden. The staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks they offer. The selection of delicious items in the afternoon tea was astounding. Absolutely delicious. Possibly the best scones I've ever tasted. The highlight was probably the dragon pearl tea (I think I'm remembering the name correctly) which was presented as a dried flower which gradually opened out as the hot water was added to the pot. We were mesmerised! Would highly recommend and would love to go back and stay in the hotel itself.October 19, 2016
